Wine

Bec Hardy Wines Pertaringa Understudy Cabernet Sauvignon is grown in the foothills behind McLaren Vale. It is crafted to be stylistically different to its sibling Rifle & Hunt Cabernet Sauvignon.

The wine usually contains small proportions of Petit Verdot and Malbec. Each variety is first fermented and matured separately in French oak hogsheads, a small percentage new. They are then blended for further maturation prior to bottling.

Deep inky red, Bec Hardy Wines Pertaringa Understudy Cabernet Sauvignon has plum favours and spice, complemented by smooth, lingering tannins. Cellaring potential is eight years.
